Creme Caramel




Crème caramel is a variant of plain custard (crème) where some sugar syrup, cooked to caramel stage, is poured into the mold before adding the custard base. It is usually cooked in a bain-marie on a stove top or in the oven. It is turned out like crème renversée and served with the caramel sauce on top.

To tell the truth, not quite happy with the result, as am not big fan of puddings n those creamy things. Tapi puding karamel ini emang enak banged, lembut n manis karamelnya pas ..

Saya hanya cobain stengah resepnya aja coz ramekinnya kecil jadi adonan ga akan muat :D Mungkin kalo tepung maizena diganti ama custard powder bakalan makin enak rasanya .. tapi btw, nyari custard powder itu di market2 syusaaaahhh...

Well, here we Gooo ... thank U buat Ibu Fatmah Bahalwan buat resepnya :)

Bahan :

- 5 btr telur
- 125gr gula pasir
- 2 sdm maizena (optional)
- 500ml susu segar
- ¼ sdt vanilli (saya ga pake)

Karamel :

- 175 gr gula pasir
- 1 sdt air jeruk nipis
- 2 sdm air

Cara Membuat :

- Karamel : jerangkan gula diatas api hingga cair dan kecoklatan, tambahkan air dan air jeruk nipis, angkat dari api. Tuang kedalam cetakan. Dinginkan.
- Campur semua bahan lain, aduk hingga larut, lalu saring kedalam cetakan yg sudah berisi caramel tadi.
- Kukus hingga matang sekitar 30 menit.
- Angkat, dinginkan. Sajikan.
